Our Founder, Brian Wainwright, started selling phones from a garage in Manahawkin, NJ through his first business, Atlantic Professional Detailing.
Became a subagent for Arjay Telecom with Comcast CellularOne and opened first wireless retail location in Manahawkin, NJ.
Acquired Elephant Wireless and opened retail locations in Toms River and Forked River, NJ.
Became a direct agent with Cingular Wireless and launched retail locations in New York.
Opened retail locations in Upstate New York and 13 retail locations in Virginia.
Downsized from 54 retail locations to 27.
Atlantic Wireless was renamed The Wireless Experience and acquired UPI Wireless in Pennsylvania.
Acquired Corporate Telecom in NJ.
Acquired MPS Electronics in New England.
Acquired Cellulations and Atlantic.
The Wireless Experience mission, vision and values are adopted.
Celebrated 20-year anniversary and became Great Place to Work Certified.
Opened a new headquarters in Manahawkin, NJ and became Great Place to Work certified for the second consecutive year.
Became Great Place to Work certified for the third time and acquired retail locations in Rhode Island.
Opened a retail location in Salem, NH, which grew our footprint to six states.
Became Great Place to Work certified for the fourth year.
